2.3 Payment data

If you purchase a premium subscription, payment is handled by the relevant payment processor — Google Play Billing and RevenueCat for in-app purchases, and Razorpay for payments made on our website. We receive confirmation of your subscription status and entitlement, but we do not collect or store your full card or bank details — those are handled directly by the payment processor under their own privacy terms.

3. How we use your data

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

5. International data transfers

We are based in India and our primary infrastructure is hosted in India. Some of our service providers (e.g. Google, RevenueCat) may process data on servers located in other countries, including the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, it remains subject to this Policy and the providers' own safeguards.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations. Aggregated or anonymised analytics that can no longer identify you may be retained.

8. How to delete your account & data

You can delete your account and associated personal data in either of these ways:

Deletion removes your account profile, notes, saved content, and study progress. Some records may be retained where legally required (see Section 6).

9. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated access controls, and reputable managed infrastructure (Google Firebase). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination and is designed for adults (18 years and older). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
