  • Digital registration: Employers can register through the ESIC portal, the Shram Suvidha portal or the Ministry of Corporate Affairs portal.
  • No retrospective demands: Employers will not face contribution demands or legal action for the period before registration, encouraging informal enterprises to join voluntarily.
  • Coverage of informal workers: Aims to bring contractual, temporary and unorganised workers under formal social‑security coverage.

By easing compliance, SPREE 2025 promotes labour formalisation and expands access to healthcare and social benefits.
